Pets are family, but caring for your companion can become costly. Today’s prices have caused many pet owners to struggle to provide essentials for their pets. If you are in this position, you’re not alone. Food insecurity is nothing to be ashamed of, and it does not mean that you love your pet any less. The Humane Society of North Texas understands this, so we’ve provided a free resource for the North Texas community.

Why This Program Matters
Food insecurity doesn’t just affect people; it affects pets as well.
The bond between a person and their pet is deep and mutually beneficial. A pet provides companionship and increases quality of life, while a person provides love and safety. HSNT cares about maintaining those relationships, so we provide resources for those struggling to afford food for their animals.
HSNT’s pet food bank strives to stay fully stocked with the necessities for those in need. Our Animal Resource Center is located at 1840 E Lancaster Ave. Fort Worth, TX 76103, offers dog and cat food, treats, toys, leashes, and more.
