At the Humane Society of North Texas (HSNT), we believe in second chances — for both people and pets. That’s why we’re proud to be an official partner of Pets for Patriots, a national nonprofit committed to uniting military veterans with shelter animals who need loving homes.
Through this incredible program, we’ve seen firsthand how one adoption can change two lives. Because of the compassion and commitment of this partnership, heroes are finding healing, and our shelter pets are finding forever families.
The Pets for Patriots program helps active-duty military, veterans, and reservists adopt companion pets by removing barriers and providing ongoing support. At HSNT, we make it even easier with:

• A starter kit to help your new companion settle in
• Access to long-term savings from program partners
• Ongoing guidance from both HSNT and Pets for Patriots
