Finding a Home for Emmitt

It's time for a celebration at HSNT's Saxe-Forte Adoption Center! Three of our incredible long-term residents, Bella, General, and Rocky, have finally found their furever homes after being with us since 2022.

We couldn't be happier for them! However, amidst this joy, we still have one more special dog seeking a loving home.

Meet Emmitt, our longest resident, who is an absolute love bug. We implore you to consider adopting him and help us make his dreams come true. Emmitt has been patiently waiting for his forever family to come along, and we believe he deserves nothing less. You can meet this lovable companion at the Saxe-Forte Adoption Center, and the best part is, he's free to adopt! We hope that by removing the financial barrier, more individuals will be encouraged to provide a loving home for Emmitt. He is eagerly waiting to shower his affection on a caring family who can offer him the love and stability he deserves.

But even if you can't adopt, there are still various ways you can contribute to our mission of finding loving homes for our furry friends.

FOSTERING LARGE DOGS

If adopting a dog is not currently feasible for you, we invite you to consider fostering a large dog. By opening your heart and home to a temporary furry companion, you play a crucial role in helping us find them a forever home. Our foster program provides all the necessary resources and support, and we even offer foster incentives to sweeten the deal. To learn more about fostering and the incentives available, please email foster@hsnt.org.

THE POWER OF DONATIONS

If you're unable to adopt or foster, you can still make a significant impact by making a financial contribution. Your generous donations enable us to continue our life-saving work and provide essential care to all the animals in our shelter. Your support ensures that we can rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets in need, giving them a second chance at a happy life. Please consider donating to the HSNT and help us continue our mission.

VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES

Aside from adopting, fostering, and donating, you can make a difference by giving your time. We are in urgent need of volunteers who can spend a few hours each week walking dogs or assisting at offsite events. Your physical help allows us to provide much-needed attention and care to our furry friends while they await their forever homes. Join our dedicated team of volunteers and be a part of the positive change in these animals' lives.

The Plight of Big Dogs

At HSNT, we have an abundance of awesome big dogs, but unfortunately, our available space is running out. We've even resorted to housing dogs in our offices to ensure their well-being. It's disheartening to see these amazing animals staying with us for months or even over a year. By adopting or fostering a big dog, you are not only transforming their lives but also freeing up space for us to rescue and provide care for more animals in need.

With over 1,000 pets currently waiting for their forever homes, HSNT is an unprecedented facing a time of crisis capacity. We need your help to ensure that these dogs, including our beloved Emmitt, find the loving homes they deserve. Whether you adopt, foster, donate, or volunteer, your contribution will make a world of difference. Together, we can save lives and create a community where every pet has a place to call their own.

Visit hsnt.org today to learn more about how you can help. Thank you for being their voice and joining us in this crucial mission.
