PETS AND PEOPLE, SAVING EACH OTHER

Founded in 1905, HSNT has been saving lives for nearly 120 years and is the oldest animal welfare organization in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. We are much more than an animal shelter; we are a resource to the entire community, offering a variety of innovative, affordable, and lifesaving services.

HSNT provides services that include pet adoptions, free or low-cost spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, returning lost pets to their owners, and cruelty investigations. HSNT operates four pet adoption centers across North Texas and a transition facility in Tarrant County, as well as a 33-acre equine and livestock ranch located in Johnson County. In 2023, HSNT helped 17,334 pets and proudly achieved a live release rate of 97%.
