Message: OMG… I went to HSNT on 2309 Chester St in Fort Worth for vaccination shots for our fur baby and was blown away by their service, politeness, and professionalism. I was greeted by Oscar, one of the nicest people I’ve met in a long time. Oscar was so helpful and informative; he basically did everything for me and was so kind to my baby. This staff understands customer service and being kind to everyone. Unfortunately, I missed the name of the young lady who was helping Oscar, but she was the same way. These days, you normally don’t even get a smile from people, but this staff was amazing, and I will return with my other babies in the future. Oscar, “Thank you” for being kind and generous with your time and explaining everything. I’m extremely impressed with the service I received. Thank You HSNT!

From being rescued from a cruelty case to finding a loving new home, sweet Dudley has found his pot of gold at the end of the rainbow! 🌈

The handsome palomino gelding that has touched so many hearts arrived at the ranch in extremely poor condition. It took many months on our re-feeding program for Dudley to gain weight and to regain his health and strength!

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞 (𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐚𝐬 𝐂𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫), who was one of our longer residents, is 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞 — and her family says they absolutely love her to pieces.

When Charlotte first went home, she had a little anxiety as she adjusted to her new surroundings. But with 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐚 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞, and the help of her orange big brother 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐨 (𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐇𝐒𝐍𝐓 𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐦 𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒), she has truly started to come out of her shell.

Lucy came to 𝐇𝐒𝐍𝐓 after a local shelter reached out for urgent help with a tiny kitten suffering from severe head trauma. She arrived with significant swelling on her head and needed immediate medical care, including the removal of an injured toe. Meet our @cbsnewstexas pet of the week.

Dumpling, a 3-year-old Frenchie who is living proof that you don’t actually need to hear the party to be the party. Since Dumpling is deaf, she’s developed some hilarious "main character" energy that keeps everyone on their toes. You can’t exactly call her name to get her attention, so we’ve had to get pretty creative—usually, a well-timed toy toss or the vibration of a snack hitting the floor is all it takes to get her looking your way.

The best part about her, though, is the soundtrack. She manages to produce the loudest, most impressive pig snorts you’ve ever heard. The irony is that since she can't hear herself, she has absolutely no clue she sounds like a tiny, adorable freight train whenever she’s excited. If you’re looking for a goofy BFF who will never judge your singing voice and will keep you laughing 24/7, Dumpling is your girl.
