I have a big heart for special needs pets, and my dogs live to old ages- with one currently at 16 years old and a cat at 18 years old. I specifically wanted an older dog that would be hard to adopt. Millie came from a animal hoarding/seizure case, and was still a bit skittish. She picked me. HSNT staff waited around until an hour after closing to make sure we were good- thank you for the dedication! Millie and my other two furry kids got along just fine. She was utterly exhausted and climbed up on

my bed and went right to sleep and has been snuggling most of the time since. Millie got bath and a pink bandana. She is sweet and loves exploring, smelling all the flowers on her

2.5 acres. She’s home. - Adrian
