We adopted our puppy (I say puppy, but he’s 3 years old) in December, from your Keller HSNT location. He didn’t trust people, he wouldn’t come near us for the first few days. We had to carry him into the house, because he wouldn’t walk through the doorways. I can not imagine what he has been through. On the first night of coming home he hid between the shed and back fence, he was absolutely terrified of coming in the back door.
I’m am happy to report he is now the first to run back in after going out for a bathroom break, he had his first grooming appointment last week, and he was so excited when he realized he was back home– he jumped out of the vehicle and practically dragged me into the house!
We've named him Max. He fits right in. We love him so much, he’s a very sweet boy. As I sit here typing this to you, he's snuggled under my arm, pressed up against me.
He becomes more and more comfortable daily, and we are so thankful for him. Thank you HSNT!
