Unfortunately the 2011 Benefit Trail Ride has been cancelled. The first date was rescheduled due to the threat of severe storms. The second date was postponed as a result of the EHV-1 outbreak, and HSNT chose to respond responsibly, joining most all other equine events across Texas and postponing our event. As the drought continues across our state, the threat of devastating fire in many areas of the state, including bone-dry Blum, Texas, has caused ride organizers to sadly cancel the ride for 2011.

This decision was not made lightly, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience it may cause our friends and fans. The benefit ride has grown in popularity and scope in just two years, and the loss of this wonderful family event for 2011 has hit us hard, especially as the need for HSNT's resources has grown. While 2011 has been a challenging year, we are looking forward to 2012, as plans for a spring Benefit Ride are ongoing.

Please check back here for the upcoming announcement of the new date for Spring, 2012!

In the meantime, happy trails to all our equine friends and family.

All pre-registrations will be honored for the 2012 ride. All donors and riders who would prefer a refund, please contact 817-332-4768 *115. No rider refunds will be made after 10-20-2011.
